Main Branch - Rogers Ave

The newest building in the Fort Smith Public Library system is lovingly called the Main Library. It was built in 2001 and showcased on the cover of the architectural issue of the Library Journal of that year. The library’s extensive collection of adult fiction and nonfiction, young adult literature, children’s literature, and books on tape will ensure that you find exactly what you’re looking for. They also have a separate area for large print books and for Spanish- and Vietnamese-language books. There are several rooms for public meetings and study rooms for students doing research in groups or alone. Separate areas of the building include public access computers and there is a computer lab for group computer instruction.
