Elementary Schools

A child’s younger years are important for development so why not put them in a school that cares about education? Fairview Elementary hosts an annual Family Science Night while Euper Lane was named a National Blue Ribbon School for achieving high learning standards.

Junior High Schools

Our Junior High Schools have won several awards. Chaffin Junior High School has been recognized by the Office for Education Policy as one of the highest-achieving junior high schools in Arkansas while Darby Junior High’s cheerleading squad earned first place championships for the last two years.

High Schools

We pride ourselves on our High School students here in Fort Smith. Just last fall, a group of students from Northside built a bus stop shelter next to Donald W. Reynolds Crisis Intervention Center so that children staying there may wait safely for the bus in the mornings. This was a part of a community project for an advanced carpentry class taught at Northside. Meanwhile, 8 senior students at Southside High School were recognized as 2017 DECA Emerging Leaders. This recognition comes from completing community service projects, managing a specific GPA, and several other requirements.
